Foiled or Faked: FBI ‘entrapment’ tactics fuel home-grown terror?

A Pakistani-born American has been arrested for carrying out surveillance on the Washington DC metro as part of a suspected terror plot. Farooqe Ahmed is accused of working with people he believed were members of Al-Qaeda – but who were actually FBI agents. A US counter-terrorism official said there’s no indication Ahmed was ever in touch with real militants. And as RT’s Marina Portnaya found out, critics say the FBI is increasingly using tactics that amount to entrapment…

    Home Grown Terrorism is like farming. The FBI plants a seed. The FBI waters the seed. When the see begins to grow, the FBI declares itself necessary in fighting terrorism. It’s basically a con-job and we, the American People, are the suckers footing the bill.
