Abdul Rashid Salim Salman Khan nickname Sallu born on December 27, 1965 is an top Indian film actor who acts in Bollywood films. Salman is the eldest son of screenwriter Salim Khan and his first wife Salma Khan (original name Sushila Charak). His stepmother is Helen, a famous Bollywood actress and dancer. He has two brothers, Arbaaz Khan and Sohail Khan, and two sisters, Alvira and Arpita.

Sallu is a dedicated bodybuilder. He trains everyday and is famous for taking off his shirt in movies and stage shows alike. In 2004, he was voted 7th best-looking man in the World and the best looking man in India by People magazine, U.S. Salman has been involved in several charities during his career.

Salman Khan is committed to Vipul Shah’s London Dreams alongside Asin – Queen of Kollywood, Bollywood Beauty queen – Priyanka Chopra, former Miss universe Lara Dutta and Ajay Devgan, in which he plays a member of a five-troupe band. The movie tells the story of two best friends played by Salman and Ajay Devgan who are upcoming musicians who go from Punjab to London to make it big. How jealousy takes over and spoils their friendship and how the common love of their life (Asin) plays an important role in getting them back together forms the rest of the film.

Despite being romantically linked with several actresses, and having relationships with ex-girlfriends Aishwarya Rai, Somy Ali and Sangeeta Bijlani, Salman is frequently featured by Indian media as Bollywood’s most eligible bachelor. He has been dating today Bollywood Queen Katrina Kaif since 2003.

On October 11, 2007, Sallu accepted an offer from Madame Tussauds wax museum in London to have a wax replica made of himself. His life-size wax figure was finally installed there on January 15, 2008, making him the fourth Indian actor to have been replicated as a wax statue in the museum. For more information see here
